BILT revolutionizes the assembly process with their 3D interactive instructions for leading brands. This is ultimately achieved by providing a seamless experience for both the brand and customer, and this is where the ANML team comes into play.
Working closely with BILT, we refreshed their app interface to enhance the building experience for customers, and also designed a new publishing portal for brands to efficiently manage their product details, instructions, and analytics.
Easy instructions result in happy customers, but brands need to easily manage these products as well. While catering to both parties, we aimed to produce a product and platform that was as clear and concise as possible.
Instruction manuals seem to have an endless amount of intricate information. There is an optimal time and place for every detail, so we designed a streamlined experience that will let customers finish a build without having to flip back and forth through every page.
We kept the interface on the 3D builder minimal to allow the 3D visuals to do the instructing; but also dynamic so that users can easily navigate, and receive contextual information without it obstructing their flow.
Whether a brand needs to update a few steps from a procedure or check how a product’s rating has changed over time, we refreshed BILT’s publishing portal to provide just as easy of an experience to manage a product as it takes to build one.
Although the publishing portal is separate from the app, we created a design system that kept it cohesive; allowing brands to provide elaborate instructions effortlessly.
The customer experience is our paramount concern at BILT. In ANML we have found a partner capable of understanding and executing on that vision. We appreciate their bias toward action and willingness to roll up their sleeves to understand our customers.
