BILT is a revolutionary 3D instruction mobile app catering to millions of users, ranging from professionals in training to ordinary individuals needing assistance in assembling furniture. Initially limited to mobile devices and tablets, the Apple Vision Pro unlocked a whole new potential for the app in extended reality.
ANML was brought on board to help design and optimize the new app. Venturing into the world of spatial computing, we leveraged the new technologies to provide a learning experience that transforms tedious instructions into a memorable endeavor.
With spatial computing apps, there is the potential to enhance engagement, motivation, and retention. However, excessive or overly complex interactivity may also lead to frustrated and discouraged users, so we carefully crafted a user experience with the right balance of intuitiveness and impact.
Without the constraints of a mobile device, we were able to design an experience that allows what's truly needed to stand out: 3D visuals that are complemented by a user interface rather than compromised by it.
We aimed to design an experience that seamlessly blends the two worlds of digital and reality. From placing a model next to your physical product for side-by-side accuracy to isolating a part to ensure you’ve got the right one, your virtual work studio truly enhances your real-world tasks.
