Coinflip (now Olliv) first engaged ANML to articulate a strategic vision for a new, core product experience that would build upon their 4,000 ATMs to create a unique crypto offering spanning across their ATMs, a new app, and the web.

We crafted a strategic vision and roadmap not only for a new product experience but ultimately an entirely new brand and business strategy. From the marketing website to the app, we’ve crafted an experience that spans their most important digital touch-points.

Crypto for all of us

We set out to provide an experience that built trust, and confidence, and educated an untapped market — The Underbanked. People who can’t, don’t, or won’t use traditional financial institutions.

A startling discovery

What was surprising is that 32% of women in the US and the UK didn’t feel they had equal access to financial resources as men. We thought if we could meet the wants and needs of WOMEN, we could meet the wants and needs of all The Underbanked.

Creating a feminine experience without creating an experience ‘for women.’

Interestingly, and this has been proven time and time again by different studies, feminine gendered experiences and brands perform better with BOTH MEN AND WOMEN. Why? Because feminine brands are more approachable and people trust them.

Product-led branding

Through our early product work we realized the Coinflip name and brand wasn’t connecting with the audience.

So we sought to leverage our strategy and design work to start establishing the bedrock of a new brand that would. In came Olliv, representing “All of US”. OLLIV, says it all right out of the gate.

Extending the product experience to marketing

The cryptocurrency market is more competitive than ever. Differentiation from competitors is key to winning a solid market position. ANML helped analyze the competitors and differentiate from them by creating not only a distinct look and feel but also a story that communicates Olliv's vision and voice.

Developed to empower the marketing team

The client has a choice from a large library of components, each with multiple design-approved configurable options and live real-time previews of updates. Localized down to the URL, visitors feel the site is crafted for them over a retrofitted experience.

We crafted beautiful interactions that don’t break accessibility and included granular analytics on all interactive elements.
